Blessing at Bon Secours

Posted

A blessing and dedication of a new temporary emergency department at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis took place on Aug. 28. The new emergency department is part of a $40 million Medical Village project, a collaboration among WMCHealth (Westchester Medical Center Health Network), New York State and several community partners. The existing emergency department was closed and construction of the new emergency department has begun. The new temporary unit, which features the same capabilities and amenities of a permanent emergency department, will serve patients while the larger, state-of-the art emergency department is built.
