The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture will present “Faith: The Competitive Edge” with Lonnie Ali and photographer Neil Leifer Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m.
Ms. Ali and Leifer will reflect on the life of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Ms. Ali was married to Muhammad Ali for more than 30 years, and Leifer, a photographer for Sports Illustrated, captured enduring images of Ali in and out of the ring. Ms. Ali will also discuss her career as an entrepreneur and marketing executive.
Leslie Maxie, 1988 U.S. Track and Field Olympian and media professional, serves as host.
This will be the third event in the series inspired by Pope Francis’ Sport at the Service of Humanity. The first two talks featured Hockey Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine and Baseball Hall of Famer Mike Piazza.
