Sister Tess Kusiak, F.M.S.C., professed her first vows as a Franciscan Missionary Sister of the Sacred Heart in St. Margaret of Cortona Chapel at the motherhouse in Peekskill April 24.
Born in Lorain, Ohio, she served in various jobs and ministries before entering the Franciscan Sisters in 2018.
During her formation, she served in Peekskill in the religious education program at Assumption parish, volunteered in Fred’s Food Pantry at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and was a staff member at Mount St. Francis motherhouse.
