Sister Madeleine Regina Nash, S.C., who served for 22 years at New York Foundling Hospital in Manhattan, died June 17 at Mary the Queen Convent in Yonkers. She was 95.

Sister Madeleine served New York Foundling Hospital, 1964 to 1986, as an administrative supervisor, supervisor of out of state adoptions and director of volunteer services. She taught at St. Mary of the Snow School in Saugerties, 1943-1947.

Born in Manhattan, she entered the Sisters of Charity in 1931 and professed final vows in 1937. She held a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Mount St. Vincent and a master’s degree in social work from the Fordham University School of Social Service.

A Funeral Mass was offered June 18 at Mary the Queen Convent in Yonkers. She was buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Yonkers.
