St. Clare's Sweeps CYO Track Titles

St. Clare’s, Staten Island, captured the boys’ and girls’ crowns at the CYO Track and Field Championships at Icahn Stadium in Manhattan June 9.

The St. Clare’s boys finished with 137 points, followed by Our Lady Star of the Sea, Staten Island, with 91 points. The St. Clare girls finished with 105 points, and St. Charles, Staten Island, placed second with 83 points.

Athletes winning three individual events were Genevieve Pantaleo, St. Clare’s, first grade girls; Abigail Robisky, St. Charles, second grade girls; Logan Walters, Our Lady of Grace, second grade boys; and Andrew Melillo, St. Charles, eighth grade boys.

Athletes winning two individual events included Tallulah Ramos, St. Charles, third grade girls; Malina Rodriguez-King, Sacred Heart, third grade girls; Kiersten Wilantowicz, CYONY, fourth grade girls; Raeanna Driscoll, St. Charles, fifth grade girls; Brianna Walters, Our Lady of Grace, sixth grade girls; Emma Gambino, Academy of St. Dorothy, eighth grade girls; Lola Dineen, St. Joseph-St. Thomas-St. John Neumann, eighth grade girls; Pietro Ventura, St. Clare’s, first grade boys; Tino McKinnon, Westchester, third grade boys; Leo Anzurez, St. Patrick, third grade boys; Max Towle, Westchester, fourth grade boys; Javier Cuesta, St. Joseph, fifth grade boys; James Anzalone, Our Lady Star of the Sea, fifth grade boys; Davey Davitt, Annunciation, Crestwood, seventh grade boys; Antonio Bravo, Iona Prep Lower School, eighth grade boys; and Joseph Logan, St. Clare’s, eighth grade boys.
